We do. If they break Porsche at Le Mans and the overall title next year, it opens an opportunity for Peugeot (and maybe BMW) to do the same.
But first, they gotta break Porsche. Now is the time for them to go for it. They’ve known they can win Le Mans.

Really doubt it - the LMP1 competition is too tight, and the rulebook too biased towards small displacement turbocharged engines, to use a large displacement and/or production engine nowadays.
